According to U.Today News, research data from Disruptiva, a regional research firm in El Salvador, shows that only 20% of Salvadorans agree with President Nayb Bukele's plan to accept Bitcoin as a form of payment. The survey was conducted July 1-4, and a total of 1233 participants. The results showed that 46% of those polled did not know anything about Bitcoin. About 65% of people do not plan to use it to pay for goods. The majority of respondents (54%) don't think Bitcoin legalization is the way to go, and 24% think the idea is partial. 25% of research participants support El Salvador's announcement of its own digital advantages. 43% were against. Almost 28% said they didn't know it was possible. 33% of those polled said President Nayib Bukele acknowledged that Bitcoin was promoted out of personal interests. 25% of participants believe the decision is an effort by the police to improve business and create new jobs.
