Data: Low trading volume in the cryptocurrency and derivatives market indicates weak trading.

The value of digital company earnings has fallen over the past two weeks, and lower prices have not led to further gains in the market.

The size of the cryptocurrency market has grown from $1.4 trillion in November 2021 to $593 billion this month. Open interest rates and Bitcoin futures volume also fell compared to the past two months.

When the cryptocurrency market declines, traders often monitor whether volume will increase further to support the current price. The cryptocurrency packaging industry continued to decline after some coins rallied in the second week of November.

According to data from cryptocompare.com, the packaging industry has been in monthly decline since November. It hit $1.4 trillion in November and $1.4 trillion in December. January 2022 data is incomplete, but $593 billion has been settled so far.

November sales were larger than December and the first three weeks of January, but more than doubled to $2.23 trillion recorded in May 2021.

As of November 2, 2021, $53.27 billion has been settled, and according to data as of January 22, 2022, $24.65 billion has been settled. Over the course of the month and the modern crypto commodities market, the market size is shrinking, as are industry derivatives such as futures and options.

When Bitcoin reached all-time highs on November 10, 2021, open interest in Bitcoin futures reached $28 billion the next day. According to statistics from January 22, many bitcoin futures exchanges raised around $14.64 billion in open interest.

In terms of future Bitcoin volume, October has more volume than November. Last October it was $1.94 trillion, and this month it was just $1.8 trillion. All open and wrap interest related to Bitcoin options has also declined over the past couple of months.

The low market share of the crypto space and commodity industry has had a huge impact on the crypto industry. An increase in volume usually means the market is bullish, but that hasn't happened recently.
