NFT Company Dropp GG Launches 'Location-Based Foundry' and 'Mixed Reality Event'
Solana-based augmented reality (AR) and NFT platform Dropp GG is developing "mixed reality" for location-based NFT broadcasts and metaverses.
Established in early 2021, the company has gradually expanded its range of concepts this year, including NFT integration, space competition, AR-based virtual earth, and Metaverse platform that shows the real world.
Dropp recently closed an $8 million funding round, sponsored by leading crypto and NFT firms including Animoca Brands, Alameda Research, DeFiance Capital, and Three Mouth Capital. Funds will be used for IP integration, collaboration, and metaverse/AR technology development.

The company will also launch a metaverse platform called "Dropp Land" which will launch virtual reality worlds that have been transformed into the real world. Under the project, users can buy virtual terrestrial NFTs and use them to generate income or rent them to others.
AR support for the Metaverse platform is on the way, allowing users to experience "real-time integration" in the real world, including the digital representation of virtual landscapes and other NFTs purchased from Dropp Land.
In an interview with Cointelegraph, Dropp founder Edmond Truong said the company wants 500,000 users to join Dropp Land in the future and will focus on providing a bridge between the metaverse and the real world. . NFT.
Truong said the NFT market works differently than other industries because it can attract more people, from "crypto enthusiasts" to gamers, artists, writers and retailers.
