FTX US Derivatives Announces Membership Leaders in Three Main Areas: Gold Exchange, Cryptocurrency and Legalization
FTX US Derivatives (formerly LedgerX) are exchange-traded and regulated by the US CFTC. It has obtained three compliance licenses from the CFTC: the Trade Regulatory Commission (DCM), the Derivatives Clearing Organization (DCO) and the Swap Execution Facility (SEF). And as early as 2017, we started crypto derivatives contracts, and in 2019 we launched a Bitcoin mini-contract, allowing ordinary investors to invest in Bitcoin with little.
FTX US Derivatives announced its board membership on the 19th. Members come from a variety of backgrounds, including traditional finance, crypto finance, and governance.
The chairman of the board is Larry E. Thompson, former chairman of the board of LedgerX, who worked on Wall Street for more than 30 years and held senior positions in various Chinese organizations with a consultant. Prior to serving as Chairman of the Board of LedgerX, Larry E. Thompson was Vice Chairman of Depository Trust Corporation DTCC.
