Marcus n'a that $ 42,000 in DOGE.
Dogecoin co-founder Billy Markus has reiterated to his followers on Twitter that he is not speaking on behalf of Dogecoin.
He also unveiled his Dogecoin hold: 220,000 DOGE, or roughly $ 41,800 at current prices.
Marcus added that he will never go back to coding his designs. “Working on cryptocurrency campaigns is dangerous,” he wrote, “because I find the more I do with people, the more rights I get and I get worse.”
Despite his setbacks, Marcus said he congratulated the developers who were able to continue working on the Dogecoin project.
"I will protect the people who think they are improving the environment," he said. "I'm going to make people think I'm wrong."
Released in 2013 by Billy Marcus and Jackson Palmer, the Dogecoin jokes and laughing Shiba Inu have become popular digital devices thanks to thriving communities that include Egypt Long Musk as a major sponsor.
