Earlier this year, gaming giant Ubisoft (Ubisoft) partnered with the aleph.im network, and blockchain storage and startup became part of Ubisoft's entrepreneurial lab and has become a key player in chain. On Tuesday, aleph.im announced that it will integrate Ubisoft Quartz solutions to integrate non-fungible tokens (NFT) into Ubisoft's AAA games.

Players can obtain the NFT power called Digits of Quartz which will be used in Ubisoft's Tom Clancy Ghost Recon Breakpoint game. Players can use numbers in the game or sell them to others in the Rarible and Objkt marketplace. The metadata and history of props are public.

Aleph.im's technology allows players to see the names and achievements of previous owners, descriptions and movies. The advantage of the Aleph.im system is that it securely stores NFT metadata on a total repository of over 70 nodes, allowing all NFT members to follow the Tezos blockchain.

Ubisoft and aleph.im are working together to combat traditional NFTs and use metadata to create dynamic NFTs, which they say will change as they move between players.

Didier Genevois, Ubisoft CTO for Blockchain Technology, said gamers need their numbers to deliver on the technology's promise. “Aleph.im's role was to create this experience. It enables the storage of Digits' video tools and metadata,” he said.

Cointelegraph previously reported that Ubisoft faced strong opposition when it first announced its partnership with NFT. The Ghost Reckon community is not happy with what they see as “loot” behavior. To allay gamer concerns, Ubisoft responded by switching to dynamic NFT with the help of aleph.im.
