Polkadot launches Parachain to improve scalability
Polkadot aims to improve performance so that businesses don't have to compete with every other smart contract in the same ecosystem, while Parachain reduces the need for networks to rely on a Layer 2 scaling solution. to avoid collisions.
Initially, Polkadot will support 100 parachains, the delivery of which will be through offers and guarantees for a period of up to 96 weeks. The next tournament will take place on December 23, 2021, when 6 new Parachains will be distributed.
In May, the developers of PolkaDOT announced the full delivery of the first Parachain of the Kusama testnet, and soon after, Polkadot began a massive effort, on behalf of DOT at Coinbase.
Polkadot was founded in 2020 by Dr. Gavin Wood, who is also the founder of Ethereum, and Wood says there is no need to stick to a blockchain.
