This $ 30 billion includes funding from major players such as Robinhood Markets and Revolut. According to data from PitchBook, financial giants over $ 1 billion in cryptocurrency this year also set new records, quadrupling previous data in 2018, totaling around $ 7.2 billion.

For example, the FTX crypto derivatives exchange completed a $ 1 billion Series B round of funding in July, bringing its value to $ 18 billion. The New York Digital Investment Group raised $ 1 billion in mid-December, increasing its value to over $ 7 billion. Forte, the company that provides the blockchain integration to the advertising platform, secured a $ 725 million grant in November. In March of this year, CryptoKitties' NFT platform Dapper Labs raised $ 350 million from investors, including sports superstar Michael Jordan, bringing its value to $ 2.5 billion. Crypto payment infrastructure provider MoonPay finalized a $ 555 million funding round at the end of November, bringing its value to $ 3.4 billion. In October, Axie Infinity developer Sky Mavis raised more than $ 150 million in funding for the online cryptocurrency game, bringing its value to $ 3 billion.
