American rock band Kings of Leon joins SpaceX to become the first group to send NFT into space.
American rock band Kings of Leon have announced that they will team up with SpaceX to be the first group to send NFT to the Inspiration4 Target site next week. This project will put music and digital art on the road.
Meanwhile, NASA's Kennedy Space Center is expected to go public on Tuesday, September 14 locally. This objective includes 51 Non-Dangerous Acts (NFTs), including the unreleased song "Time in Disguise" by Kings of Leon.
"Time in Disguise" became the first song in NFT history to be performed on location. The remaining 50 NFTs are said to have been created by 50 different artists.
Inspiration 4 is a free flight around the world orbiting the SpaceX Crew Dragon capsule. The three-day orbital journey was planned and booked by billionaire Jared Issacman, founder and CEO of Shift4 Payments. Other members include Hayley Arceneaux, Sian Proctor and Chris Sembroski.
This project is moving forward and we hope to raise $ 200 million for the Jude Children's Research Hospital. Kings of Leon NFT will be sold along with 50 other digital NFTs to support hospitals and research. The competition will take place on the History Policy Platform, which is also the NFT casting platform. NFT will go on sale by November, with prices starting at $ 50,000. The winner will receive an NFT and an iPhone that sends the NFT to the site.
Kings of Leon said in the release that "I am delighted to be a part of this historic journey to raise funds for St. Judas," Kings of Leon said in the release.
