WisdomTree Modifies Bitcoin ETF Application Defined By US Treasury
WisdomTree, president of New York, has filed an application with the United States Securities Commission (SEC) to the Bitcoin Exchange Commission (ETF) to select Bank of America as the regulator.
In Wednesday's case, WisdomTree listed the National Association of Banks of America as the custodian of its Bitcoin investments. This information is an update to the March 11 Bitcoin exchange rate request and was submitted to the United States Securities and Exchange Commission before the Bank of America provided cryptocurrency services to investors.
On December 2, the U.S. SEC rejected the CBOE BZX exchange deal to change the names and trading rules of WisdomTree Bitcoin Trust Fund shares. It is not clear if this update is intended to take the time to request new Bitcoin ETFs, as WisdomTree is waiting 265 days from the date it started filing US SEC denial requests. WisdomTree submitted a separate Ethereum Trust Fund ETF application to the US SEC in May, which is still under review.
WisdomTree has over $ 76 billion in assets under management and has announced four cryptocurrency indicators in the United States and Europe to provide traders with a wide range of developments. Additionally, the company has previously traded promotional products in cryptocurrency baskets between Euronext Paris and Amsterdam.
U.S. regulators have yet to approve cryptocurrency exchanges. However, the US SEC has approved cryptocurrency-related products for the future, including investment regulator ProShares and Valkyrie's BTC Futures ETF. Other U.S. companies, including Fidelity, have sued Canadian regulators over ETFs that have direct exposure to cryptocurrency.
