Robinhood COO praises Shiba Inu Coin, which has 1.6 million crypto wallet users on hold.
Robinhood CEO Christine Brown praised the Shiba Coin (SHIB) community, but said security is the most important platform, not the "short-term benefits" of the new generation .
Brown made the remarks during an interview on “Crypto Goes Mainstream,” which aired on YouTube Tuesday. Asked about SHIB, he said:
"One of my favorite things about it is for the communities around this room to reach out to us and let us know what they want."
However, Brown declined to say if Robin Hood would increase SHIB. SHIB is currently the 11th largest cryptocurrency with a market cap of $ 30 billion.
The community has stepped up support for Robinhood to sign SHIB, and the Change.org app now has over 500,000 signatures.
Brown has stated that Robinhood is "the premier security company" and will carefully review the capital of each listing.
"Our idea is different from that of a lot of our friends," "Now we are competing to raise as much money as possible."
"We believe that short-term growth poses no risk to long-term growth."
Brown also reported that there were over 1.6 million users of Robinhood's cryptocurrency wallet. Once the cryptocurrency wallet is launched, users will be able to trade cryptocurrencies on and off the platform. Strong demand indicates that users are committing to manage their crypto assets.
CoinGecko SHIB's price is $ 0.00005430 and has been down since November 3.
