Gaming giant Ubisoft announces NFT Quartz gaming platform is entering the meta-world
On December 7, Ubisoft released the beta version of its new Ubisoft Quartz platform. This allows users to receive NFTs for items that can be used in the game, such as weapons, clothing, or vehicles. Ubisoft Quartz calls these NFTs "Numbers" and chooses to create and deliver these NFTs on the Tezos blockchain.
Quartz is the first to support the PC version of Tom Clancy's tactical online shooter "Ghost Recon Breakpoint". This makes Ubisoft the first major games company to announce integrated NFT for games.
Quartz will be tested on December 9 at 6:00 p.m. UTC in the United States, Canada, France, Germany, Spain, Italy, Belgium, Brazil and Australia. To help players get the most out of their math, Quartz recommends that players with at least XP level 5 and qualifying NFTs be included in “Ghost Recon Breakpoint”. Players must have a Ubisoft Connet account and use a third party Kukai or Temple crypto wallet.
Apparently, when Quartz announced on December 9, “Ghost Recon Breakpoint” will provide three seats (M4A1 tactical rifle, helmet, and pants) for early adopters. These numbers are provided free of charge, but must be completed within the deadline (December 9, 12 and 15 respectively). In addition, players must meet certain conditions to qualify. Rifles require users to reach level 5 XP in Ghost Recon Breakpoint, Pants must have at least 100 hours of user play, and helmets must have at least 600 hours of user experience.
Quartz plans to speed up NFT launches in 2022. It should be noted that a Quartz reader always only has one digit of a version.
Nicolas Pouard, vice president of Ubisoft's Strategic Innovation Lab, said at a press conference: “Ubisoft Quartz is the first part of our mission to create a true meta-universe, comprising: electricity cannot be carried out.
